The Military Brat &. The name? Charlotte Marie Dalpiaz. Really, don't call me Charlotte, Charlie is just fine. &. I was born in Venice, Italy on December 10th, 1990. For those of you who aren't good with numbers that means I'm seventeen going on eighteen. &. I'm the only daughter of Renée and Anthony Dalpiaz. &. I'm a quarter French and Italian and I'm half English. &. I'm tiny. I'm about 5'2'' and stick skinny. My brothers actually joke around and call me "Skeletor". Skeletor isn't even skinny so what the hell? &. I have two brothers, one older and one younger. They're probably my best friends because I've never had anyone else I could really trust. They've got my back and I got theirs. I also learned my sweet self defense moves from them for free. We had to entertain ourselves some how. &. My dad was in the military since I was a teeny tiny tot. We've lived in so many places around the world that I can barely remember them all. The only places that I haven't been to is probably South America, Africa, and Antarctica. I really liked living in Japan when I was fourteen. The food there was great. I now love sushi and sashimi. Oh, I can't forget mochi. &. Speaking of food, I love to eat. I'm actually always eating something. I think it's because I have a fast metabolism. &. My dad was stationed all over, I never had a real friend besides my brothers. I've never had a girlie sleepover like I've seen in movies and I've never had a boyfriend. I also have never been kissed. Well, that part is a lie. There was one boy in France that I kissed when I was about ten but let's not talk about that. It was really embarrassing because he wasn't even cute and he smelt weird. Ew, not to mention that it was really slobbery. Yuck. &. Because I've moved so many times, I've learned to not have many possessions. I'm fine with it and I can be happy with just a pair of shoes, no jewelry nor handbags and a few different outfits. I feel like the saying "less is more" is true. However, not many people can accept that. &. I moved to the US when I was sixteen however I didn't move to Maryland until a few months ago. When the Roland Park Country School was just getting out for summer break was when I first enrolled. Before being enrolled at RPCS, I was mainly home schooled. The longest I've stayed in a place was probably just for one school year in the UK. Since I wasn't at a school for too long, my mom would figure home schooling would be easiest. Sure I missed out on a lot but I'm hoping my last year of high school at RPCS will make up for that. &. Because my dad was in the military, people assumed that he is a complete dick. Sure he's strict but he's probably cooler than both of your parents combined. He never really cared about what my brothers and I did and we'd sometimes be out on the town until 4 in the morning. &. I've never played any sports except beer pong. I'm horrible at that so I wouldn't even want to count that. I've never even paid attention to sports either. I feel like it's a waste of my time. &. I'm actually looking forward to school because it's a new experience. Hopefully we stay here for long enough for me to make some friends. Maybe a cute boy is lurking around the corner for me to seduce. Ha, like I'd know how to seduce a guy.
